LG has just revealed that their highly-anticipated Watch Phone will retail in the United Arab Emirates by mid-October for AED 4,399.

The UAE will be one of the first markets to get their hands on the touchscreen device, which LG promises is “more than just a prototype with a price tag.”

“This phone is fully functional and rivals top luxury watch brands in terms of style, comfort and durability. The engineering that went into making our Watch Phone a reality - especially the touch technology - is unmatched in the industry,” said H.S. Paik, president of LG Electronics, Gulf FZE in a company statement.

The wearable phone comes with a host of features including 3G HSDPA network compatibility, an MP3 player, Bluetooth connectivity, video calling and water resistance.
