Oh yea! Because $1000 is whole lotta money. But if that’s not a worry (seriously?) you’d stand out from the iPhone crowd with these handmade beauts from Japan's SoftBank.

The Japan Texture series includes five cases with different designs made from lacquer and gold dust. For $1000 we’d expect no less…in fact, where are the Swarovski crystals? CrunchGear, which reported on the news last week, added that Softbank isn’t planning to sell the cases outside Japan. Shame.

But if you've just GOT to get your device dressed in an Asian-inspired design, head on down to a local  SkinJam and see what they can sort out for you.

WOW. And here I was looking to buy a mere USD2 case (http://blingmyiphone.com/alldesign_381950011_B001CTIQEA_SOLID-LIGHT-PURPLE-SNAP-ON-COVER-HARD-CASE-PROTECTOR-for-APPLE-IPHONE-3G-Beyond-Cell-Packaging.html). That's way out of my range.
