The week's off to a great start! Leaked photos of the Sony PSP Go showed up on the internet just a few days before its rumoured launch at this year's E3, and it sure does look good. Okay, it's a little car-dashboardish but nowhere near as square as Nintendo's DS Lite.

Perhaps the most obvious difference is the fact that there's no UMD slot on the device which now also sports a brand-spankin' new slide-out keypad. The shrinked 3.8" display will also take some getting used to but that's mainly because we've been spoilt so far with a generous 4.3". Another plus is its claim to be almost half as light as Sony's current PSP model (PSP 3000) which, at 189 grams, is a long shot for taking home the heavyweight title.

While the PSP Go does look different from its older siblings, it isn't too far removed from all that we know and love about our Portables. Now all we need to do is wait ever so patiently for PlayStation's latest baby to be delivered in this part of the world.
