Nominations are now open for the ACN Arab Technology Awards 2009. The awards, the most high profile awards for the industry in the Middle East.

As usual, the awards recognize a excellence in the IT industry in a wide range of categories, for both individuals, project deployments and companies.

This year we have introduced some new categories to reflect the role played by vendors in helping to drive standards in the region, as well as an award to recognize the increasing importance of green technology in the Middle East.

With the awards due to be presented at a gala dinner held in parallel with the region's biggest IT event - GITEX Technology Week - they promise to once again be an unmissable showcase for But as usual - you've got to be in it to win it. For nominations and other information see the August.
