Microsoft Research continues to push out some interesting touchscreen devices - first it was the coffee table, then the wall - now they going round with the Sphere. Check out the video here.

This latest device, still in concept stage, takes multi-touch and other features that Microsoft has been touting as the future of the interface and puts it into a globe shape. Not sure how this one goes beyond just another fancy point-of-sale or information kiosk, but given that Microsoft is already selling the Surface coffee table to retailers, expect to see this one in a Mall near you soon.
