Extreme Networks makes partner program easier PartnerWorks Lite is designed to make it easier for channel partners to start working with Extreme, says Ala'ali.

Extreme Networks has expanded its PartnerWorks channel program with the launch of a new PartnerWorks Lite offering.

The PartnerWorks Lite program is intended to give easier access to Extreme resellers that want to continue as the primary point of support for customers, without having to make a high level of investment in its own services.

The initial PartnerWorks program allows resellers to provide their own branded support services for Extreme solutions, while Extreme provides deeper technical support and logistics. With PartnerWorks Lite, qualified resellers will be able to field level 1 service calls, and then Extreme will handle all services beyond that including provision of spare parts.

Aziz Ala’ali, regional director for Extreme Networks, Middle East & Africa, said: “The launch of these channel program enhancements for PartnerWorks is very well timed to assist our partners during a challenging economic climate. This new service is designed to make it easier for channel partners to start working with Extreme to address future services opportunities and close sales more efficiently.”

Nabeel Ahmed, general manager for the Network Center, an Extreme Networks Silver certified partner based in Dubai, U.A.E commented: “Extreme Networks PartnerWorks Lite is a unique vendor offering in that it will allow TNCT the flexibility to retain our own branded services and to decide on different support levels depending on the individual needs of our customers. We can price our services solutions more efficiently and plan our internal support resources accordingly.”
