Cisco’s subsidiary Linksys has launched its WIP330 wireless-G internet protocol (IP) phone, the first in a series of wireless products that are designed to enable users to make low-cost voice over IP (VoIP) calls through 802.11g wireless networks.

“VoIP has clearly emerged as the future of telephone communication and Linksys is leading the way,” said Mohammad Hoda, regional sales manager, Linksys Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
