Alcatel-Lucent has updated partners on its enterprise strategy at a channel conference in Dubai.

The four-day training event, held under the banner ‘Become a Dynamic Enterprise’, marked the first chance for Middle East resellers to get a proper look at the strategy unveiled at the vendor’s annual Enterprise Forum in Europe last month.

Alcatel-Lucent says it has developed a ‘dynamic communications framework’ showing how advanced IP communication solutions, matched to a company’s communications strategy, can turn every business into a ‘dynamic enterprise’.

More than 130 delegates from 40 different channel partners attended the conference, which was held alongside the third edition of its Middle East Master Convention with distribution partner Mindware. The convention attracted over 50 executives from 20 resellers in the region.

Partners heard Jan Zuurbier, VP for sales and support emerging markets in Alcatel-Lucent’s Enterprise Business Group, give a keynote speech and attended sessions covering topics such as mobilising unified communication and exploiting user-centric security.
