CA re-launches channel partner portal

Goes live with re-designed version of its online partner portal for partners in EMEA

Enterprise management software vendor CA has launched a re-designed version of its online partner portal for partners in EMEA.

The vendor says that the re-hashed online service should provide partners with instant access to an extensive set of resources to support their work and provide assistance through every stage of the sales cycle. The portal is exclusively available to members of the CA Partner Programme and as such underlines the vendor’s tiered channel structure.

Gilbert Lacroix, SVP of EMEA Channel Sales at CA, says that partners making use of the new online facility should be provided with the right tools to enable and help them grow their business.

“The portal is a milestone in our singular goal to make our partners successful,” professed Lacriox. “We want partners to have the tools they need to win deals and be profitable with CA, and it's essential that we continually refresh the site to meet their changing needs.”

Among the benefits made available to programme members that access the portal are sales and marketing aid, compensation facilities and technical and enablement online tools.

The vendor also points out that in light of the financial restrictions partners will find themselves under in the current climate, and in response to feedback from the channel, details such as financial incentives, available margin builder funds, renewal opportunities and new sales leads, take precedence on the portal’s dashboard. Furthermore, there is a high degree of personalisation available to portal users meaning that the system is as efficient as possible for partner participants.

Lacroix hopes that the portal re-design will also allow resellers to understand and make the most of the vendor’s entire partner programme. “'We are now delivering a best-in-class portal which offers powerful support to help our channel partners to grow their businesses and help them quickly and easily understand all of the benefits offered through the CA Partner Programme,” added Lacriox.
