Rivaling the sleek dimensions of the Apple MacBook Air, the new Adamo notebook by Dell is now the world’s thinnest laptop.

Part of the ‘Adamo by Dell’ brand, the laptop is just 0.65 inches thin and weighs 4 pounds.

In comparison, the Macbook Air is 0.76 inches but weighs a lighter 3 pounds.

Adamo, derived from the Latin word meaning ‘to fall in love’, will reflect a new line of products with a strong design and personalization focus.

“Great design needs to be timeless and evoke emotion in people”, said Alex Gruzen, senior vice president of Dell’s consumer products. ”While a premium computing experience was assumed for Adamo, the intent was for people to see, touch and explore Adamo and be rewarded by the select materials and craftsmanship you would expect in a fine watch.”

With prices starting at AED 6,999, the Adamo comes in two colours – onyx and pearl. For detailed product specifications and ordering information, visit the site.
