Huawei and Value Partners sign Oman Mobile deal

Partnership will deliver end-to-end services around Oman Mobile's new 3.5G network

Huawei has signed a deal with management consultancy company Value Partners, to deliver integrated services to Oman Mobile.

The two-year contract will combine Huawei and Value Partners different areas of expertise to help Oman Mobile to develop and sell services based on its forthcoming 3.5G network.

The new network is being built on Huawei’s HSDPA technology, and will deliver high speed mobile broadband to customers in Oman. The agreement between Huawei and Value Partners will focus on all aspects of the business including technology, marketing and customer service.

This innovative partnership gives us the opportunity to combine expertise and provide integrated business and technology solutions that will enable our clients to maintain a competitive edge in the market and invest in the right technologies.”

Santino Saguto, partner and managing director, Value Partners Dubai, said that demand for integrated services could see the model being transferred to other markets.

“As a leading advisor to the converging industries of telecommunications, media and technology, we have noticed an increased demand by telecom operators for integrated solutions and services. Our collaboration with Huawei will help Oman Mobile reap further benefits and enable them to make critical business decisions. Based on the success of this project, we hope to replicate this model of co-operation in other markets as well,” he said.
