The International Bank of Qatar (IBQ) is aiming to improve the skills of its staff, with the implementation of Misys Learning Suite.

The Misys Learning Suite will help to train the bank’s expanding workforce in how best to use its Misys Equation core banking solution. IBQ is a long standing Misys user, but the Learning Suite is intended to keep staff up to date on the system to leverage the most value from it.

James Nelson-Parker, Chief Operating Officer of IBQ, commented: “IBQ has undergone a tremendous increase in headcount fuelled by our growth strategy in the last few years. In order to offer the best service to our customers, we need to ensure all our staff have optimal skills and knowledge through excellent training. Misys Learning Suite has provided an efficient and controlled way of ensuring that we keep our performance and effectiveness at a maximum.”

Misys Learning suite will provide an ongoing education program, with standardised training provided online.

Roy Froud, regional director, Misys Middle East and Africa, said: “Providing a standardised e-learning programme that enables IBQ to train its staff to the highest levels will greatly assist their operations. Increasingly, our clients are turning to Misys for advice and consulting services as they keep in step with their own customers’ needs. Misys Learning Suite provides the functionality and scalability to ensure our customers get the most value out of our solutions and keeps on doing so as the business expands further.”
