Open source enterprise search specialist Simplexo has signed a strategic partnership with Duroob Information Technology (DIT) to bring its enterprise search solutions to companies in the Middle East.

The two companies will market Simplexo’s ‘single click’ information retrieval solutions to help enterprise level businesses to have better access to their information.

“DIT’s partnership with Simplexo will create a variety of new and exciting opportunities. Simplexo Open Source Enterprise Search will enable us to provide companies with a tool that will help overcome the daily challenges that companies face when using poor information search, by providing secure information retrieval in real-time and in one ‘single click’. Such a tool, will help to drive competition amongst companies, which is crucial during the current economic climate,” said Abdullah Subeh, general manager, DIT.

The Simplexo solution allows companies to search all kinds of data, structured and unstructured, over multiple silos across the enterprise, to give real-time results which the developer says can give businesses better management of data, including for compliance purposes.

The solution is also designed to meet high security standards, including the UK Ministry of Defence specifications.

Alistair Handyside, CEO of Simplexo said: “As ever, it is fundamental that companies remain competitive. A way to achieve this is by ensuring that staff can retrieve vital information in real-time, so that they are well-informed and in return, can work productively to provide a good customer service. The partnership between Simplexo and DIT will increase our coverage in a key and expanding geography.”
