IT services firm Emirates Computers has achieved certification on vendor partner Cisco’s advanced unified communications solutions.

The systems integrator is now able to sell, deploy and support the group of solutions across the Gulf region.

“Unified communications is fast turning into a key technology for businesses today,” said Dani Diab, VP and general manager Abu Dhabi at Emirates Computers. “We hope to continue providing quality solutions to our clients in terms of planning, implementing and supporting Cisco solutions and to continue delivering a high-level of customer satisfaction,” added Diab.

Among the products that fall under the banner of unified communications, Emirates Computers will now be able to add to their portfolio Cisco’s Unified Callmanager, Unity Connection, Unified Videoconferencing and the vendor’s Unified Meetingplace Express.

Cisco says that the money, time and resources the UAE-based integrator has put into earning the certification adds a new level of differentiation to its work in the regional IT services market.

“As a Cisco advanced unified communications specialised partner, Emirates Computers’ investment in the training required to provide integrated, collaborative and adaptive unified communications solutions rank them among the industry’s most qualified,” said Richard McLeod, director of unified communications for worldwide channels at Cisco.
