Computer hardware maker Lenovo has added to its Middle East channel schemes with its latest partner initiative dubbed the ‘Good Idea’ programme.

Although few details have been released about the programme, the vendor says it is aimed at local PC-focused resellers and provides attractive incentives that support partner’s business objectives. The launch of the Good Idea programme complements a major channel partner push in the region from Lenovo.

Khaled Kamel, general manager at Lenovo Middle East, Egypt and Pakistan, says the firm’s goal is to manoeuvre into a position where it is viewed as the most attractive choice for PC resellers and VARs across the region.

“It is a priority for Lenovo to work closely with local business partners to consistently meet customer demands, more effectively and at a better value proposition than competitors,” asserted Kamel.

Lenovo’s regional channel partner manager for Middle East, Egypt and Pakistan Djillali Lahiani, who will be charged with ensuring the programme meets the needs of Lenovo’s PC resellers, reveals that as part of the Good Idea business partner drive, Lenovo is now offering new allies special activation pricing until the end of the year.

“Working in tandem with our business partners empowers us to enhance our service to the customers. The new approach enables us to develop new opportunities in the market, and expand our business with the channel through a high value, high growth-oriented model,” concluded Djillali.
