Quintica ME kicks off IT governance awareness drive

Quintica Middle East has kicked off an awareness campaign to encourage the adoption of IT governance principles by companies in the UAE.

Quintica ME will host training seminars with the aim of helping regional companies improve efficiency and promises a 25% enhancement despite budget restrictions put in place due to the current economic climate.

“The current financial crisis enveloping global markets has forced organizations to rethink their budget strategies and priorities. One of the areas they are focusing on is IT, which is one of the most resource- and personnel-intensive corporate segments and yet is one of the most vital and strategic aspects of modern business operations,” said Colin Cloete, managing director, Quintica ME.

“This is why we decided to introduce this campaign, to send out the message that it is possible to streamline IT activities without compromising quality or productivity. IT Governance provides a way out of the numerous financial dilemmas faced by organizations affected by the international credit crunch,” added Cloete.

IT governance is delivered through different international frameworks and standards, such as The Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and ISO/IEC 20000.
