ESET launches mobile antivirus solution in ME

ESET Mobile Antivirus, a new security solution for mobile devices, has been released by ADAOX Middle East, the regional business development centre of ESET.

Headquartered in the US, ESET is best known for its flagship product - ESET NOD32 Antivirus – a security solution for computers. The company now brings a similar level of protection to its mobile customers in the Middle East.

The antivirus software is compatible with Windows Mobile devices and can automatically address mobile malware and SMS related threats. Spam protection for SMS messaging is also offered for added security.

"More and more users are requiring mobile devices to send sensitive e-mail and SMS messages. With the number of Smartphone users increasing every day, the potential for attacks is also increasing,” commented Neo Neophytou, managing director at ADAOX Middle East.
