Enterprise solutions firm Infor is preparing itself for an assault on the region’s market after hiring Paul Hammond as general manager and regional VP for the Middle East.

Hammond’s foremost task will be the development of revenue growth through the recruitment of channel partners and management of what the firm describes as key customers such as Nakheel.

“Infor has acquired and developed some of the best solutions in the market and is now the world's tenth largest software company with over 800 customers in the region,” commented Hammond. “We look forward to further extending our reach and breadth of product offerings to our customers in the Middle East by recruiting additional channel partners.”

Infor’s product range includes solutions in enterprise asset management, asset sustainability edition, supply chain management and performance management. Hammond, who brings nineteen years of experience in the IT solutions sector, will be looking to establish these products among the portfolios of new channel partners as soon as possible.

“The Middle East enterprise software market is developing at a rapid rate and the opportunity for Infor is tremendous,” concluded Hammond.

The firm is looking to further its channel engagement with a forthcoming partner recruitment event that it will be holding in the UAE at the start of December.
