Leviton drives cabling business with development manager

Leviton has appointed Asef Baddar to drive its business in the Middle East

Networking wiring device maker Leviton has appointed Asef Baddar to drive its structured cabling business in the Middle East.

In his new role as business development manager for the Middle East region, Baddar will be in charge of the vendor’s network solutions division. His role will include with developing new business through structured cabling partners and getting Leviton’s products specified by consultants and contractors.

The networking vendor also says it has given Baddar responsibly for overseeing training and warranty fulfillment. Baddar previously worked for the vendor as part of its US outfit where he was applications engineering manager for the applications engineering department of Leviton’s voice and data division.

Speaking on the appointment, Ramzi Nassif, managing director at Leviton Middle East said: “Baddar brings over 15 years of structured cabling experience and is well respected in the industry for his knowledge and problem solving capabilities. Leviton has ambitious business plans in the region and a highly trained and experienced senior executive like Baddar will play a key role in driving our structured cabling business forward.”
