Alpha Data deploys Kaseya automation platform

New platform serves as backbone for IT managed services by Alpha Data

Alpha Data has deployed an IT automation platform by Kaseya that will serve as the backbone of its IT managed services business.

By using Kaseya to offer remote, automated management and support services, Alpha Data has already reduced visits to client sites by 85% and expects to grow its managed services customer base by as much as 50% in the next six months without hiring additional employees.

“The Kaseya platform ensures Alpha Data can take advantage of the changing market dynamics in the UAE and meet growing demand from small to medium-sized businesses for ongoing, proactive IT services. Feedback from our customers has been extremely positive and we’re predicting strong business growth in the coming months as a result,” said Venkitachalam R., service manager at Alpha Data.

Key features of the Kaseya IT automation platform include system monitoring and secure remote control, fully automated patch management, powerful anti-virus and spyware detection, easy scripting for scheduling and automating tasks and automated inventory audits.

“Alpha Data is an excellent example of an IT service provider that has used Kaseya to successfully make the journey from a traditional ‘break/fix’ organisation to a managed service provider,” commented Jim McMahon, regional manager for Kaseya in the Middle East.
