Knowledge Computers is offering refurbished network systems to the Middle East as it demonstrates a host of products from companies like Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper and Sun at GITEX Technology Week.

The Canadian reseller plans to open an office in the Middle East within the next six to twelve months.

"It's a given that the growth in the Middle East is phenomenal but as the global downturn runs its course even this region will start to feel the pinch. I believe that enterprises will start to consider refurbished systems as a viable alternative," says Benjamin Stone, Cisco account manager at Knowledge Computers.

This is Knowledge Computers' second visit to GITEX and Stone says that it is because of the value they have seen come out of the initial foray, as well as to build awareness ahead of establishing its office in the region.

Knowledge offers a three month warranty on all networking equipment, which are all checked and approved by certified technicians before leaving the labs.

The reseller acquires products through overstock or surplus equipment, asset recovery, closeouts, wholesaler and factory liquidations, customer trade-ins and upgrades. All used products are tested by trained technicians and guaranteed with either replacement or refund.

"We offer a wide range of products and solutions to meet the requirements of all sizes of networks and companies," states Stone.
