With ‘green operations' becoming a buzz term at this year's GITEX Technology Week, Xerox has focused on promoting the environmental benefits of its latest products.
Amongst the products on display is the Phaser 8560 Colour Printer, which is equipped with the company's next generation solid ink technology, developed over five years to increase the durability of Xerox's ink sticks.
"The Phaser 8560 colour printer has been designed to provide customers with an environmentally friendly solution, which is something forward-thinking companies are looking for in the marketplace," says Dan Smith, general manager for Xerox integrated markets operations. "The amount of wastage it produces is 95% less than the average laser colour printer," he adds.
