First look at Winsoft font

Winsoft is offering an exclusive preview of its new Arabic fonts at GITEX Technology Week.

The French company's Tamseem software provides users with typesetting technologies based on letter analysis of the Arabic alphabet. A number of academic institutions are already using the font, including Dar al Hikma Colled in Saudi Arabia.

"Our Arabic Calligraphic Engine (ACE) technology offers today's designers greater creative freedom in an Arabic friendly design environment," explains Ashraf Kessaissia, Winsoft's business development manager in the Middle East.

"In addition, based on feedback from our users, we have developed new fonts that will even better fit expectations from both modern and calligraphic designers."

The technology can be purchased through Winsoft's eStore and directly downloaded online.
