Jacky's Middle East has brought enhanced versions of its Queue Management System (QMS), which is primarily aimed at banks, to GITEX Technology Week.

The exhibitor has taken 45% more space than last year to also demonstrate a wide range of other new products from its three divisions: Office Automation, Home Appliances and Visitor Management Solutions.

"People look at GITEX as an opportunity to see and experience new technology developments being showcased by various companies," says Ashish Panjabi, chief operating officer at Jacky's Middle East.

"As people visit our stand to find out what is new, we believe that GITEX is the right time to introduce our new products and solutions. We make plans for the whole year and work hard to make our participation at GITEX a successful one."

Jacky's will focus extensively at the show on Customer Feedback Solutions and enhanced versions of its Queue Management Solution.

"Basically, many of our clients, especially banks, want to integrate QMS with the rest of their system because a lot of other solutions, like the HR system that is used to measure employee efficiency, tie in closely with this. For instance, how many people a teller has attended to enables the employer to rate his efficiency. Our focus, therefore, has primarily been on enabling tighter integration between the QMS and the other systems in the bank," explains Panjabi.

Jacky's has also sought to integrate the QMS with digital signage systems. "Traditionally, these solutions have been used only with LCD screens. Now, we have integrated it with Digital Signage Systems to ensure that it can be part of the décor. We are also looking at making it available on video walls shortly," adds Panjabi.

Jacky's is eager to take its QMS business forward as the company has already seen a 50% growth in this sector in the last year. Besides the huge consolidation in the local banking sector and the boom it has experienced, Panjabi believes that the company's expansion outside the UAE in places such as Jordan, Pakistan and more recently, India, has given its QMS business a significant boost.
