Business solutions provider Al Taqnyah is making its debut appearance at GITEX, exhibiting with business partner SOMAC-IT on the Dubai eGovernment stand.

The company's stand will include live demonstrations and seminars, covering areas from enterprise and government eforms to BPMS, unified business messaging, information capture, and biometric handwritten signature capture and verification.

Dr. Usman Zafar, managing director for Al Taqnyah Business Solutions says the company believes its presence at GITEX 2008 will prove to be "significantly important to introduce our services to visitors and give them an insight into what we do and we what we are about, an innovative company which provides businesses with unique and internationally renowned innovative solutions such as Adobe, KOFAX, iGrafix and CyberSIGN".

Zafar claims that the Middle East and Africa market holds a great deal of potential for IT firms and that the young company hopes to capitalise on the opportunities provided by GITEX this year.

“We represent international IT companies and are very committed with a strong vision to the Middle East market. The MEA market holds true potential for us with buoyant forecasts for the ICT industry going into the future. This is based on our experience to date as well as regional and global markets analyst reports,” he says.

Zafar also explains that the show will be a good opportunity for the company to connect with its customers and will provide the chance to learn more about the dynamics of the IT market in the Middle East market.

Al Taqnyah, launched earlier this year, is a division of the Arms Group, founded in 1990 by chairman Abdul Rehman Mohamed Sherief.

The firm distributes software products from Adobe, and will be debuting for the fist time in the Middle East communication systems from Kofax, biometric signature authentication from CyberSIGN, and iGrafx process analysis solutions.
