Making inroads into the Middle East's enterprise printing industry is Italian company Custom Engineering SpA, which is displaying most of its products at its stand in GITEX Technology Week.

The company recently introduced a desktop ticket printer, called TK300II.

The printer, which can be equipped with barcode scanner reading pre-printed modules and optional RFID reader-writer, is suitable for all ticketing applications where user automatic identification and access control are required.

This latest model boasts up to 250mm per second printing speed, accommodating tickets ranging from 54mm to 82.5mm in width and with a paper thickness up to 350g per square metre.

The machine comes complete with a display of two lines of 20 characters, while a MultiMediaCard of 64Mb for logo, font and data storage expansion is also available.
