Pinnacle Computer systems wants to use its appearance at this year's GITEX Technology Week to display its range of products to the large numbers of new SME companies springing up in the Middle East says George K. Thomas, Pinnacle CEO.

"For any new company setting up in the UAE we can take care of setting up their IT infrastructure including cabling, IT equipment, telephony, internet connectivity, ensuring connectivity to their head office as well as individual branches, building e-mail systems. We also have the capability to provide consultancy services," he says. "We have the opportunity to reach out to these new companies when we exhibit at GITEX Technology Week."

Thomas also confirmed that at this year's event, Pinnacle would be focusing primarily on ERP and CRM solutions.

"Orion - from vendor 3i Infotech - is an Oracle based ERP solution that we have been representing for over eight years in the market. In addition we also have Maximizer as our CRM solution," he says.

"We will shortly be setting up a demo of a comprehensive solution integrating telephony, CRM, ERP, document management and related solutions which are ideally suited for the SME customers. The fact that this show gives us the opportunity to do things like this means it really adds value to us as a company," he notes.

Thomas believes that Pinnacles base and experience gives it an advantage over other companies exploring market potential at GITEX Technology Week.

"We have been a long term player in UAE having been setup in 1995, which is now 13 years back," he says. "In that time we have built up a range of cost effective solutions for the small medium size companies. The UAE has a lot of new SME companies being established. We have an opportunity to reach these companies through the show and we already have the positioning and infrastructure in place to cater to each of their individual needs."

Thomas confirms that this event isn't simply about business possibilities: "It's also a way to touch base with our existing customers and ensure we don't neglect them."
