European Antennas, a UK-based designer and manufacturer of high specification antennas, is showcasing a range of products at GULFCOMMS in a bid to gain a foothold in the lucrative Middle East communications sector.

The company aims to increase its coverage and increase business levels by 200% during 2009, and views GULFCOMMS as an important part of its strategy to achieve this.

The company produces antennas including flat-panel, sector, planar spiral and omni-directional devices within 250MHz to 40GHz frequency range, for the security, satellite, commercial, and defense sectors.

European Antennas products are designed for a range of applications including WLAN, WiFi, WiMAX, RFID, Link16, TETRA, PMR, telemetry, surveillance, marine, outside and video broadcast and cellular, according to Joanna Seabrook, events organiser at European Antennas.

"By appearing at GULFCOMMS we hope to increase the expansion of our branding and business into the market, as well as sourcing agents for the Middle East region," Seabrook says. She adds that the company views GULFCOMMS as a key introduction to the region, and an important phase of its marketing plan for the area.
