Document solutions provider Kyocera Mita is cementing its presence in the Middle East market with the opening of a regional office in Dubai Internet City slated for the end of October.

In addition to the DIC address, the firm has also named Takuya Marubayashi as its Middle East general manager. Kyocera says among the first priorities of the new GM and employees at the DIC office will be to open up greater communications channels with its local partners.

“We are confident that our branch office in Dubai will enable us to communicate more directly with our local partners and clients so that we can be proactive and anticipate their needs,” asserted Marubayashi.

Kyocera’s partner network currently in this region includes distribution names such as the Gulf Commercial Group, Bin Salmeen Computer and Office Accessories and Ahmed Kassem Darwish Trading.

The company also states that in conjunction with its Middle East partners it will increase its product education efforts with training topics to include Kyocera’s product line-up, sales skills and its solutions portfolio.

“We look forward to intensifying our relationship with our regional partners through Kyocera Mita Middle East”, concluded Marubayashi.
