Al-Futtaim Technologies, a Dubai-based systems integrator, is keen to put the customer at the centre of its offering at GULFCOMMS.

With the recent acquisition of Futech Software Solutions, Al-Futtaim Technologies has expanded its service offering to include IT consulting, and this is one of the areas that the company intends to focus on at the event.

"At this year's GULFCOMMS, we will promote both our system integration capabilities and our IT consulting services. We will demonstrate our unique ability to bring together disparate hardware with a single-minded focus aimed at enhancing our customers' experiences," says Venkat Raghavan, the general manager of Al-Futtaim Technologies.

"Realising that customer focus is a key area of growth, the company is adding a series of solutions from a consulting as well as delivery angle in its key target space that will enhance the customer experience."

Al-Futtaim Technologies' partners include Alcatel-Lucent, Panasonic and Microsoft Business Solutions. It is opening its lines of business to add a spate of new product and service offerings in various sectors. The company has partnerships with a number of well-known technology vendors and is able to combine a variety of products to create a seamless experience for its customers.

With its expanded range of products and services, Raghavan says that Al- Futtaim Technologies has consolidated its reputation as a "single-window organisation" meeting the commercial requirements of its customers, from business planning and information and communication technology support. Raghavan is optimistic that GULFCOMMS will provide the company with an ideal opportunity to showcase its range of products and services.

"GITEX is exciting for a variety of reasons," he says. "From a marketing standpoint, GITEX presents a fantastic brand-building opportunity. From a technology perspective, it enables us to showcase our latest products to visitors."

Raghavan says the company is also planning to meet with key customers and resellers during the show to outline its ongoing commercial strategies.
