Partnerships a key priority for Actatek

Singapore-based company keen to foster new partnerships with regional distributors and value-added resellers at GITEX Technology Week.

While time attendance and access control solutions developer, Actatek, is still to establish a permanent Middle East sales base, the company's managing director, Paul Hung, confirms the region generates strong revenues for its business.

"The Middle East is very important for our operations worldwide," he asserts. "The sales of our products in the region have, over the last few years, accounted for 35% to 40% of our worldwide sales."

It is with the aid of a network of distribution partners and value-added resellers that the Singapore-headquartered firm has been able to lay claim to implementing major projects for government ministries, banks, airports and other large organisations in many of the markets across the region.

The company is looking to enhance these ties at GITEX Technology Week.

"We've established deals with Middle East-based resellers at GITEX in the past. The show provides a great opportunity to meet a significant number of resellers and end-users from the regional and worldwide stage," says Hung. "We hope to gather new sales leads at this year's show. With the marketing channels that GITEX offers we believe that our company and new products can have good coverage across the region."

Actatek is also an official Sage third-party software development partner and its products have been implemented with the ERP specialist software giant's accounting and payroll software.
