The fourth Arab Technology Business Plan Competition has been launched by the Arab Science & Technology Foundation in collaboration with Intel.

“It is an opportunity for young, Arab entrepreneurs to map out and transform their ideas from a concept to a tangible working company,” said Ferruh Gurtas, group director of Corporate Affairs, Intel Middle East, Turkey and Africa.

Winners of the annual competition will get the chance to participate in the Intel + UC Berkeley Technology Entrepreneurship Challenge in November.

“By creating a forum where investors can view the talent the Arab world has on offer, we are helping increase investment in our economies' future,' said ASTF regional director, Mohammed Abboud.
