Disaster recovery strategies to do a double-take at GITEX

Double-take Software, a developer of disaster recovery and back-up solutions, will use its presence at GITEX Technology Week to hunt for new channel partners, meet with existing customers and raise its brand awareness in the Middle East.

Double-take Software, a developer of disaster recovery and back-up solutions, will use its presence at GITEX Technology Week to hunt for new channel partners, meet with existing customers and raise its brand awareness in the Middle East.

"The Middle East is an important market for the company and we believe it is important to be present at GITEX. It is the most important show in the region and we believe that we need to be there," says Mar Guerrero, marketing manager, EMEA for Double-Take Software.

Double-Take will promote various products at this year's show, including Double-Take 5.1, Double-Take Server Recovery and Double-Take TimeData. Double-Take Server, which is a replication-only technology suitable for less critical applications, enhances server protection with on-demand, system state recovery.

TimeData allows customers to recover lost or corrupted data at a granular level for Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SQL Server, and other Microsoft Windows based applications.

Double-Take also offers professional services based on the solutions.

"The Middle East is a fast growing market with important interests in data protection and compliance which is the profile of our customers. Sales in the Middle East is an important part of the whole company, which is why our presence at GITEX is crucial," states Guerrero.
