PC peripherals manufacturer, Himalayan Times, the Indian-based distributor of PC accessories and peripherals, will showcase an extensive range of products during its first outing at this year's GITEX Technology Week.

"We will showcase the entire range of accessories from X-AGE. We are the authorised distributor for the company's products in the Middle East and Africa. Our main purpose for being at the event this year is to find suitable distributors and channel partners for these products in various countries across the region," says Sapan Jhawar, national sales manager for Himalayan Times.

Products set to feature will include laptop bags, USB hubs, card readers, web cameras, universal adapters, mouse and keyboards.

The company will also demonstrate products from its own brand, Navtech.

"We are working on getting a stand as part of the Indian pavilion to display the Navtech set of products. We do not want to mix this with the X-AGE range since the two are designed for completely different market segments. The X-AGE is aimed at a more premium segment," explains Jhawar.

"Dubai is strategically placed. It is important to have a strong base in the UAE and exhibiting at GITEX is our first step to establishing a permanent presence here," Jhawar adds.
