Sharjah Airport Free Zone scouts for new business

The Sharjah Airport International Free Zone (SAIF-Zone) will showcase its extensive business infrastructure and licensing opportunities to visitors at this year's GITEX Technology Week.

The Sharjah Airport International Free Zone (SAIF-Zone) will showcase its extensive business infrastructure and licensing opportunities to visitors at this year's GITEX Technology Week.

The SAIF-Zone, which was established in 1995, is home to more than 3750 companies from 91 countries, covering a wide cross section of industries. Current partners include some of the biggest names in the field of IT services, media, consumer durables and manufacturing.

Major investors include Airfreight Aviation Limited, Infosys Technologies, Ashok Leyland, 3i Infotech and Zeeland Marketing Services.

The free zone claims to offer fast and simple processing of relevant commercial licenses within 24 hours of application, sponsorships and visas for staff and simplified customs procedures.

Staff from the SAIF-Zone will be on hand throughout the show to answer all enquiries about doing business from the cluster.
