Leading value-added distributor Computerlinks will showcase a portfolio of network security products at GITEX Technology Week from companies including Juniper, Websense, RSA, MessageLabs, GFI, Aerohive and Kaspersky Lab.

The distributor, formerly known as Fusion Distributions, is "the link between manufacturers and resellers for the successful distribution of intelligent IT solutions from the areas of e-security and e-business", according to Lee Reynolds, MD of Computerlinks MEA.

"Our main aim at GITEX is to showcase our portfolio of IT security products and support our vendors." he adds.

Reynolds says the company will showcase its range of e-mail security, data backup and disaster recovery products at the show.

"GITEX is a landmark event in the region and a great opportunity to turn the spotlight on IT security and related issues," says Reynolds. "The Middle East, and particularly the UAE, has always been an eager adopter of the latest IT security technology and products. Companies have been actively incorporating security mechanisms across their enterprise and GITEX Technology Week will help speed up the pace of investments and also create a platform for visitors from other Middle East countries to take advantage of the technology spread available."
