Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority (DSOA), the body governing and managing Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO), views GULFCOMMS as the ideal platform to strengthen its presence in the region and build relationships in high tech industries locally and globally.

During the show, DSO is planning to focus on its core services and provide information to exhibitors on its facilities, infrastructure and the benefits of doing business at the free zone technology park.

"GULFCOMMS provides us with the chance to share with investors and potential partners our world class range of facilities and support systems for companies to start up and flourish within the technology park," says Mazen Mohamed El Dirany, associate manager of corporate communications and business development, DSOA.

"We will also reveal our latest milestones and highlight state-of-the-art infrastructure that has been specifically tailored to meet with the requirements of international technological companies working in the microelectronics and semiconductor industries."

DSO has a mandate to shape Dubai and the UAE into a hub for hi-tech industries. The free zone technology park covers 7.2 million square metres and offers 100% foreign ownership, business friendly laws and zero tax. DSO is targeting companies specialising in photovoltaic and thin-film manufacturing; solar energy; plasma, LCD and laptop assembly; telecomms services and training centres.
