Datastar International is keen to raise awareness of its product range and the potential benefits that tracking technology can bring to companies in the region.

Datastar offers a range of wireless technology solutions such as vehicle tracking, telemetry, asset management, inventory, parking, access and personal tracking, using technologies including RFID, RTLS, GSM/GPRS and LBS (Location Based Search).

Datastar will promote the benefits of these technologies for companies in numerous different sectors. "GULFCOMMS is a famous exhibition in the Middle East. A lot of clients and prospective customers are there. Many companies make announcements about their products and services at the event," says Moammar Da'as, marketing manager, Datastar.

Da'as added that Datastar will be promoting key products and services including GlobalWave, which provides two-way data communications using wireless mobile terminals. GlobalWave technology is used in industries such as commercial trucking, rail, marine, oil and gas, heavy equipment and environmental monitoring.
