Vizada will expand its presence at GULFCOMMS this year, aiming to cater for the full spectrum of mobile and fixed satellite communications requirements.

Vizada offers fixed and mobile communications services using multiple satellite network operators, including Eutelsat, Inmarsat, Intelsat, Iridium, Loral, New Skies, SES Americom and Thuraya.

This year, two members of the Vizada Group will exhibit at GULFCOMMS, Vizada and Vizada Networks. Vizada sells mobile satellite services and a portfolio of technologies through a global alliance of more than 500 service providers. Vizada Networks develops tailor-made fixed satellite solutions, selling very small aperture terminal (VSAT) services directly to end customers.

"We will be showcasing the latest developments in the Vizada satellite communications portfolio in a region where there is a real need for remote connectivity," the company said in a statement.

"Our satellite services meet every requirement in terms of technology, terminal, region and price, and cater perfectly for the needs of oil and gas and mining companies, government agencies, NGOs, media, ISPs, telecoms providers, and Fortune 500 companies operating in the region.

Whatever the communications requirement or geographical location, we have the service to best fit our customers' needs, from high-speed data terminals to light-weight handsets.

In terms of mobile satellite services, Vizada will showcase basic connectivity services, which are combined with other applications to cater for the specific comms needs of operations such as oil & gas and mining companies, government agencies and NGOs.
