IT systems specialist MDS, which operates the MDS Computers and eSolutions businesses, will be looking to attract new business at GITEX Technology Week.

MDS has offices in countries including the UAE, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Turkey.

"Our objective is to create awareness about the development of new areas of operation and to highlight our commitment to the Middle East market," says Sami Abi Esber, president of MDS UAE holdings. "We are recognised for our innovation and the quality of world class brands and solutions that we implement in emerging markets. We will emphasise our ongoing achievements so far and look to further strengthen our long-term plans with partners, distributors and consumers."

MDS will debut a range of products at GITEX Technology Week, including two ATM machines.

"We will showcase the full function lobby ATM, which is a multi-role platform that includes cash withdrawal, deposit, passbook update, A4 statements and cheque imaging. We will also demonstrate a cost-effective ATM specifically designed for the retail market," says Abi Esber.

"GITEX is undoubtedly crucial to the success of our business in the Middle East as well as to our operations worldwide. The show has proved to be an important gateway to the Middle East market. GITEX provides us with the best platform to showcase our latest range of products and services. It also provides us opportunities to develop new relationships with clients."
