Computer Protocol Malaysia (CPM), a Malaysian company focused on specialised data communications and networking products, is keen to expand its business in the region.

CPM's main products are the B2B VoIP Soft Switch and the Voice over IP gateway, which allow voice and fax transmissions over an IP network. The gateway hardware supports FXS, FXO and T1/E1 interface and is interoperable with third party B2B VoIP gateways.

Optional software enhancement includes gatekeeper, softswitch, subscriber and pre-paid phone card billing software.

MC Yong, managing director, CPM, says: "By exhibiting at GULFCOMMS we hope to establish a business relationship with companies around the Middle East for mutual benefits. GULFCOMMS can be a key meeting point with business people from the Middle East. The Middle East market is very important to our operations worldwide."
