Organized by Datamatix, the first GCC Telecoms' Business Challenge Conference will take place on 26th November in Dubai and will address topics such as regulatory issues, finance and investments in technological developments.

'The strong and steady economic growth in the GCC countries, rapidly changing technology trends, and increasing market demands have stimulated growth in the region's telecom industry over the past few years. In this vital period of development, it is imperative that the leaders and major players in the regional telecom industry take the time to discuss and address important issues affecting the sector and create strategies for its continued success and future expansion," said Ali Al Kamali, managing director of Datamatix.

Expecting close to 150 participants, the Conference will serve as a platform for them to discuss the latest business, technical and legislative issues in the GCC's telecom sector and forge partnerships with other regional and international organizations. Datamatix has sent invitations to Orange telecom, Etisalat, Omantel, Du, Saudi Telecom, Batelco, and TRA among others to finalize a keynote speaker for the Conference.

The first GCC Telecoms' Business Challenge Conference reflects the growth of the region's telecommunications industry, with recent reports by Al Mal Capital predicting that the telecoms market in the UAE itself is expected to grow 63% in the next four years.
