HP 3G smartphone arrives in the Middle East

The new HP iPAQ 914 Series Business Messenger offers ‘productivity on the go’

The new HP 3G smartphone designed for optimum mobile productivity is now available in the Middle East at a price of AED 2,799.

HP iPAQ 914 Series Business Messenger sports a glossy black exterior and an integrated QWERTY keyboard. It uses the Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional operating system for familiar access to applications and the latest wireless technologies.

 "As more of the workforce becomes mobile, customers are demanding greater sophistication and functionality from smartphones," said Ivan Ducournau, portables and handhelds product manager at HP Middle East.

"HP has used customer feedback to develop devices that not only provide connectivity, productivity tools and GPS navigation, but also support the business applications that truly keep the on-the-go professional connected," Ducournau added.

The smartphone supports HP Enterprise Mobility Suite, the HP mobile device management solution that allows enterprises to remotely manage, help secure and support mobile devices.

The built-in Cyberon Voice Commander and HP Voice Reply, gives users the freedom of hands-free emailing. Additionally, the HP iPAQ 914 features a 3 megapixel camera, GPS navigation and support for critical business applications.
