Nero names distie Al Hosani in retail push

Al Hosani Computer Trading has been brought on board by Nero to deliver its products across the majority of the Gulf region

Software value added distributor Al Hosani Computer Trading has been brought on board by digital media solutions manufacturer Nero to deliver its products across the majority of the Gulf region.

"Having a distributor in the Middle East ensures that our products will reach a booming market and eager users," said Patrick Peeters, general manager for the EMEA region at Nero.

UAE-based Al Hosani now holds distribution rights for Nero's products in the UAE, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. Of particular importance to the manufacturer is the forthcoming launch of Nero 8 which will see Al Hosani ensure that the software package can be found on the shelves of the large retail outlets including Carrefour, CompuMe, i2 and Emax in September.
