Jumbo secures service accolade

Jumbo wins Dubai Service Excellence Scheme award for customer service.

Electronics and IT retailer Jumbo Electronics has picked up the Dubai Service Excellence Scheme (DSES) award for its level of consumer service.

The firm's Hamdan Street store in Abu Dhabi was judged the best performance outlet in the electronics category under the DSES' Department of Economic Development award programme. Jumbo received the accolade at a recent DSES awards night held in Dubai.

"Jumbo Electronics is honoured to have been recognised for its commitment to customer service," said Peter McElwaine, CEO of Jumbo Electronics. "We have always prided ourselves on our strong customer service culture, a core strength that has helped the company take the leadership position in electronics and technology retailing. We would not have won this award without the dedicated efforts of our staff, who are continuously working towards setting impeccable standards of service, and to the long-standing support of our customers."

Jumbo has a network across the region of over 30 stores which all carry products from some for the major names in fields of consumer electronics, IT, telecommunications and entertainment including HTC, I-Mate and Lenovo. The retailer also has nine service centres across the UAE alone.
