IT distributor Mindware has finalised plans to relocate its warehouse facility from Dubai Cargo Village to Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza).

The Dubai-based firm claims the move is in line with its expansion strategy - which primarily focuses on strengthening its enterprise portfolio - and will allow it to make the most of what it describes as Jafza's excellent logistics capabilities and communications infrastructure.

Mindware's portfolio of vendor partners currently includes components giant Intel, security specialist Symantec and notebook maker Dell.

"Moving closer to our existing and potential clients is part of our growth strategy, which is also centred on acquiring more business partnerships with global companies who are entering the UAE and the region through Jafza," asserted Wissam Hajj, operation manager at Mindware.

The company says the main thrust of its overall operations is to aid global investors in enhancing their business through continuous improvement of its distribution services and the delivery of vendor's products.

"We are positive that our new warehouse facilities in Jafza will play a major role in delivering better services for their [global investors] benefits, while opening up more possibilities for us in terms of partnerships with leading global companies," continued Hajj.

"In addition, we are constantly looking to expand our product portfolio by adopting new brands and technologies to our current offerings, in line with our aims to achieve 20% growth in 2008."
