The founders of internet telephony firm Skype are planning to launch a broadband television service, according to a report in the Financial Times. Some 6,000 people are already testing the service, which has been named The Venice Project, the report said. “The overall picture is that this is happening. Video is moving online, and people have to find strategies for that,” said Janus Friis, one of Skype’s founders.
