Emirates Computers and AL Neama link for Qatar operation

Emirates Computers is to establish a comprehensive IT and related services operation in Qatar in partnership with the technology arm of a local holding company.

Emirates Computers is to establish a comprehensive IT and related services operation in Qatar in partnership with the technology arm of a local holding company. The UAE-based IT services firm said teaming up with Ebrahim AL Neama Holding would help it serve customers better and speed up the introduction of technology and solutions into the market. Emirates Computers’ Doha operation will focus on four key business lines, covering communication and networking infrastructure, software solutions, systems integration projects and security solutions. It will cater to the requireme- nts of key industries such as hospitality, real estate, government, telecoms, transportation and utilities. Emirates Computers said it would also continue to offer its customers IT infrastructure services, computing products, data storage solutions, and systems integration support. “Given its growing demand for the latest in technology and enterprise solutions, Qatar is a key market for Emirates Computers,” Hani Harik, president and CEO of Emirates Computers claimed. “Together with our partner, Ebrahim AL Neama Holding, we aim to provide customers in Qatar with best-in-class technology and services. “We believe it is the right time for us to have a direct local presence, which will help us to better serve our customers and also strengthen our position in the Middle East as the leading solutions provider and systems integrator,” Harik went on to add. Ebrahim al Neama, chairman of Ebrahim AL Neama Holding, added: “Our keen understanding of local market trends and demands, in combination with Emirates Computers’ products and expertise, will ensure that the alliance is able to effectively tap the promising growth in the technology market. “We are pleased to be associated with an experienced and professional partner such as Emirates Computers,” he added.
