i-mate unveils two entry-level Windows smartphones

JAMA 101 and JAMA 201 offering entry-level smartphones running Windows Mobile 6.0

i-mate has launched two new entry-level smartphones, the i-mate JAMA 101 and i-mate JAMA 201.

Both phones run on Windows Mobile 6.0 powered by a 300MHz Samsung processor, with built in 2.0 megapixel camera, Bluetooth and SD card slot, with 128MB ROM and 64MB RAM.

The JAMA 201 comes in a smartphone factor with 2.4 inch screen, with navigation keys for web browsing and chat, and retails at AED 1,299 ($353). The JAMA has a slightly larger screen, at 2.5 inch, but comes with a full qwerty keypad, and has a retail price of AED 1,399 ($381).
