HP updates database archiving software

Latest database archiving software includes more support for regulatory compliance and SQL databases

HP has revamped its Database Archiving software, to provide more support for regulatory requirements and to enable easier management of projects.

The latest update includes a visual design environment, to help simplify deployments of database archiving projects and make development faster and easier, cutting costs and time.

The application also now includes support for Microsoft SQL database, and includes extra functions for Oracle databases, including support for partitioned systems. More support for open standards is also included, to enable companies to use open XML, and also to improve discovery capabilities and compliance regulations.

HP's latest Database Archiving software represents a significant step forward in the expansion of our information management software portfolio."
